Has anyone any experience to share of AutoAid since they were taken over by RCIB?
I read somewhere that Britannia is a good breakdown service as they apparently pay the garages better rates? Not sure if there's any truth to that.0 -

I think it was April or May.0 -
April 28th I had to have the car recovered from a few miles away, 6pm sat night. Garage truck there in about 40 mins and took me home. Didn't even need to pay and reclaim so hopefully this was after they took over.0

I have married friends who use different surnames.
I used to live with a previous girlfriend, who had the same surname as me.

Had to use them last Sunday. Had a puncture and car doesn't have a spare! Took about 90 minutes for the recovery truck to arrive, although I was told that when I called. The recovery company aslo contacted me to check the size of tyre and offered to replace it at their depot, which was about 5 miles away or be transported home (90 miles). I chose to get the tyre done by them which cost £50 so was comparable to garage prices. Didn't have to pay any recovery cost, as that was already covered by Autoaid, so that was a bonus.0
