CPM (UK Car Park Management) Strike again!

Hi all, I'm sure I know the answer to the main issue at hand which is to ignore them.
However I have just received a letter from CPM (UK Car Park Management).
This is the first I knew about it as i did not have any form of ticket on the screen when I came back to my car.
The vehicle was parked in a small area of land (i can't really class it as a car park as it's so small and difficult to access) behind a night club I was DJing in at the time. I have parked in there on many occasions and i have never had anything like this.
On the day in question I was DJing for a private function that started early (in daylight).
It was a Saturday evening past 6pm.
It's taken me be surprise as I did not have any prior warning regarding the ticket.
Just a letter through the door which is addressed to myself as the RK.
I'm not intending on paying it however I thought I would share this and ask for your opinions on the matter.
Let me know your thoughts please.

just read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread
Ignore has not been correct for 4 years !
I assume this was in england or wales ?
if its not , then read the NI and Scotland advice0 -
Same advice as this one, except there is no Mother-in-law featuring, in your case:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5519252
and like this one, only he naively told UKCPM who the driver was (DO NOT do that):
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5501385
You will get a 'formal demand' (how scary...not!):
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5498106
But we do recommend one response from the keeper to deny liability, if this was England or Wales. As per the NEWBIES sticky thread advice.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
