My washing machine setting for "Baby & Toddler Clothing" washes at 90 deg :undecided
What I *think* it means is, that if you want to create baby & toddler clothing (by shrinking!) then use that setting !:T
Perhaps a polite way of meaning soiled terry nappies?I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

My washing machine used to smell too. Now I use Soap nuts to wash dark and most coloured clothes. I use washing powder for whites and things with stains but not as much as recommended. I never use fabric softener anymore even though I liked my washing to be soft. I use it if I hand wash and spin in the machine. I think if you run the machine on high with no detergent every so often that is supposed to help but haven't tried it. My machine doesn't smell anymore, oh and I always leave the door open when not in use.0

I wash towels at 90 - not all towels are used to wipe clean skin after a bath
sweaty gym towels and sports socks are a breeding ground for bacteria and then there's the other unpleasant foot fungus you can pick up from the communal showers so as they go in the same laundry basket as the other towels everything gets a hot wash.0 -
I wash mine at 90 if there are dishcloths in there too. Otherwise, 40.0

Tea towels, changed daily, are sprayed with a stain remover if needed and washed at 40. Manky ones regularly chucked out! Bath towels 40. Bedding 40. The towel bathroom floor mats changed every other day are zapped at 60! Everything is dried outside weather permitting!
Washing machine door always left open after wash to "air" for about 30 mins. No smells ever. Short washes at 30 for general clothes. No need for those wretched 3 hour washes EVER!
Never washed anything at 90 in me life!!"... during that time you must never succumb to buying an extra piece of bread for the table or a toy for a child, no." the Pawnbroker 1964

Towels and the bedding, I wash at about 70 degrees...I add white vinegar to the wash
