At what temperature do you wash towels?

Do you mean you have separate towels?
Do people share towels? Ours are colour coded :rotfl:
and washed at 40 most weeks 60 every few months.0 -
I wash everything at 30 apart from towels which I wash at 60. Given the germs/bacteria which must live on towels I wouldn't feel safe at anything less than 60. (I also use white vinegar instead of conditioner to keep them soft)0

Cleanliness is fine, but it is often taken to extremes now. Clean hands is the best bet, they go everywhere, think about it....yikes!
I wish that Dyson fella would invent a "body dryer". Wouldn't it be great? Just stand in front of it and in a minute or two of warm air blasting at you, you are dry, and no flippin washing of towels anymore. Probably cost less in energy too. I'm patenting that one!0 -

In my bathroom at any one time are two bath sheets, one bath towel and a towel big enough to turban my hair
Me and he mix and match. We share bodily fluids so we share towels
When I have guests ( most weeks) I give them one bath sheet, bath towel and two ordinary towels
All towels here are done on 60 and changed every 4 days0 -

Haha - we had a huge discussion about Dyson shower dryers last week at the pub, I said I,d like a giant version of the hand dryer one blade each side of the shower entrance/exit - only trouble is with my errrm 'curves' it would look the like wonk-wash scene out of the original willywonka film :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Would those air jet body scanners they have at security checkpoints work?“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. I wash everything at 40. It all comes out clean and smells fresh, so that'll do! As stated by previous posts - must be okay as still alive. Why do some people have such an obsession with killing bacteria - we need it to strengthen our immune systems - not all bacteria is bad. You're just being brainwashed by the cleaning corporations who want us to drown in their nasty chemicals.
I agree, not all bacteria is bad. Too clean and we'll destroy our immune systems.
For me, washing at 60 is essential as I often have wet towels in my bag all day at work as I shower there after running in and both myself and OH work in warm environments where we sweat buckets in lab coats all day so my stuff starts to smell terrible after a few washes at 40!“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. I wash mine mostly at 60 and occasionally 50. I don't listen to all this nonsense about washing at 30. Now they are trying to get us to buy special washing powder to get rid of the germs which is more expense again.0

My washing machine setting for "Baby & Toddler Clothing" washes at 90 deg :undecided
What I *think* it means is, that if you want to create baby & toddler clothing (by shrinking!) then use that setting !:T:hello:0
