Me too, 40 is as low as I go though. Although my machine has a rapid cycle (30 degrees for 14 mins), I have never used it....doesn't quite seem long enough or hot enough.Well Behaved women seldom make history

I use the 30 wash for a lot of stuff 40 for other and 60 for bedding 70 for towels, dishcloths, face flannels etc.0

Towels on 3hr 30C wash. When needed.
Underwear and PJs on 3 hr 30C wash.
Pillowcases and white shirts on 30C 3 hr wash.
Duvet covers and bottom sheets on 15 min wash or 1 hr 30C, depending on how often, usually weekly.
Husband's remaining stuff on 30C 1 hr wash.
My separates and daughters separates generally on 15 minute wash. Just need freshening up.[SIZE=-1]"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"[/SIZE]
