Nationwide Flexaccount - no DDs, SOs or payments left account yet

Finally got through to Customer services and was told that they are expecting all payments to go through before close of business today.

If they don't and you suffer charges due to late payments then they will be offering compensation as a result

Have to admit I was a wee bit worried this morning...

I'll keep an eye that everything goes through later on in the day.

My regular internal payments have now been actioned but even NW's own mortgage payment hasn't been taken yet...

Aye so most of my direct debits never came out today. Can't even call NW. First I was made aware was though this forum.

This is why I would prefer to do anything with a little leeway planned in. Even computers have off days.

For my circular money laundering operation, or buck passing between high interest current accounts, I like to do it where the money comes in on the 1st, then goes out on the 2nd.

They now say that DD's have been paid, and accounts will be updated today.

Just to confirm that my account is now showing all DDs as having been paid.

One Standing Order has been paid, one has not.

No Direct Debits showing as having left my account. Sorry, but I don't trust that they have been paid as stated.

I've already been messaging NW on Twitter and Facebook; generic watery / vague / non-committal responses received.

I spotted this at around 08:30 and have been checking my online banking every hour or so.

Mine have finally all gone through.

Transfer from current account to joint account went through around midday and all the payments out from my joint account went through in last 40 minutes
