Almost 5,000 words! One of the main reasons I gave up trying to critique POPLA appeals.
Yep but mostly template stuff, e.g the signs & landowner authority paragraphs are standard.

Indeed, and I am going to suggest after 'no keeper liability' you also add the template point which goes hand in hand with 'no keeper liability' - the one about 'the individual nor being identified as the person liable' (see POPLA Decisions thread).

I also always suggest the signage paragraph is illustrated by embedding the blurry images of UKPC signs you'll find on their website under your photos. Make it pretty and stop the Assessor falling asleep (choose the worst pics that show the car nowhere near a sign and the illegible small print in all its glory).

Make it long but make it readable with pics.

It's not so much the number of words themselves, off-putting enough as they are, it's more often about the 'copy and dump' then leave it to a regular to fine-toothcomb that frustrates me. And then to be shortly followed by another attempt and then to be asked to go through it yet again, often with more errors to sift out.

OPs need to be realistic in what can be expected from regulars. They are often operating in their own little case vacuum blissfully ignorant that regulars are commenting on dozens of other cases simultaneously.

As I said (in a similar 'rant') last night, I admire your resilience (and unwavering patience) CM.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It's all skim-reading! There is no fine tooth comb used, I just look for the right headings/template and a quick check for anything specific that should be added.

OPs can proof read their own versions for relevance, that's their task.

Except lose the word 'I' because you do not want to imply the driver!!

can i send the same POP appeal but just amend the dates?
Of course, if it's all the same and relevant. I once sent the same POPLA appeal six times for a friend's tickets!

Yes, I've never lost one for any friend/colleague or footie fan. There is almost always a winning angle.

Lost IAS appeals but that's par for the course!
