Arh yes, I thought the OP had an MSE free Sky for a year deal.
I recall reading the T&C's and thought it stated if you left early, you would have to pay for all the free stuff over the year.
Whether they would actually put that into practice....0 -

Bloody hell I AM on that plan, I spotted an incredible Sky deal last year. I got the whole year Broadband AND line rental for about £10.00. It was the best deal I ever saw. After reading your comment I better wait just to make sure. Last thing I want is them coming after me for an entire year's worth of broadband charges.0 -
Karljt - decided whether you will apply to PlusNet tomorrow or are you going to see the Sky contract out?0

Well I am absolutely disgusted. I have had to wait until now because my contract doesn't end till October 4th and the new deals being offered are a joke. Best deal I can get now that isn't Sky is the Talk Talk which turns out at £16.00 per month after factoring the cr*ppy voucher from Love2Shop.
I am very angry0 -
Why are you angry ? You agreed to the contract, where you got a good deal in exchange for commitment.karljt2013 wrote: »Well I am absolutely disgusted. I bought a number of reed diffusers, the other week, because I really liked the perfume and they were a good brand.
They are now reduced to 67% of the original price. I lost out on saving money, but it was my fault for buying in , so it doesn't warrant anger.0 -

You obviously haven't read the thread. I haven't even taken any of these deals yet. I am angry because only three weeks ago both Plusnet and Talk Talk were offering very good broadband deals which have all but evaporated. I wanted to take advantage of these offers three weeks ago but couldn't because that would have mean't terminating my Sky contract early and incurring possible penalties. Had I been able to take one of the offers three weeks ago I would have been paying £10.00 per month for broadband.
I am an excellent money saver, and I don't need a badge on here to prove it. I am more of a HUKD person myself. £10.00 per month is what I wanted to pay for Broadband on a 1 year contract so I could go elsewhere in twelve months.0 -
Angry? Over missing a broadband deal?! Seems a little overkill

You had a great deal before, so that was a win. Why don't you just hang about for a few weeks to see what deals come up, as posted they come up frequently and you can leave Sky any time as you arent in contract. Ok so you may pay extra for a month or 2 but that would be better than tying in to a deal you're not happy with.
Did you ask Sky as suggested about a retention deal? Or even try the online chat, I got a great TV deal using just the online chat.0
