Husband wants to give in and pay

Options
Hi we have got a parking ticket from Parking Eye. We've read the pinned post and sent an appeal as suggested. We've had nothing back yet but my husband has been reading about the beavis thing and just wants to pay before the fine increases to 100.

Unfortunately he did the same thing 2 weeks in a row. He parked on the range car park in Bolton for over 3 hours and he was not shopping there (he was doing some work at a house just next to the car park). It's going to be 120 quid which we will pay if we have to but I just wanted to make doubly sure there's no hope.

Thanks in advance.

As nothing from parkinglie is a fine, but a speculative invoice, please make your husband sit beside you as you read those stickies again.

My ruling, as a successful parkinglie double-conqueress, thanks to coupon-mad May Her Name Be Praised and others' input along with considerable persistence of mein own, is that Any Husband Who Wishes To Pay such a scumpany, MUST PAY HIS WIFE the matching sum for matching silly spending.

Please just work together, in stages, on this and don't even think of adding to their multi millions. The existence of ppcs is an obscenity.

Please do not give up ... the fight is on everyday with Parking Lie.

Would you phone one of the scam phone lines, hope not, this is in the same category except this bunch work in car parks.

Their function is in doubt but we do know they are there for one reason ... to scam people

Please wait for a bit and a member called coupon-mad will be along soon

Can he offset it against tax?

More worrying Deep is say a company like UKPC who lost recently in court for a claim of £1120.00

They can claim the amount as unpaid and get relief from HMRC

Then there is the VAT content which can be offset against their VAT liability.

Something that should be fully investigated by HMRC

I have no problem with people paying as little tax as they can get away with Beamish, all of the Memsahib's and my old age pensions, and a lot more, goes straight back to New Gidgeon at the Treasury.

No he can't. He wants to pay it tonight. It's typical of him. Penny pinches then just rolls over and takes it for 120 quid.

To misquote Mr Dickens, your husband is a @ss, a idiot.

It is a scam and I bet that parking lie (it is a fact that hey were caught lying in court) will not have met the requirements of POFA 2012 and therefore this scam can be beaten with a two sage appeal.

Stage one is simple copy and paste from the NEWBIES thread (the BPA template in blue.) It's already done for you.

Show your cowardly stupid husband this post, then fight back against the scammers.

But there is not 'no hope'. Have you checked the PCNs to see if they were posted in time?
