Why does he think he needs another vote - shall we keep going until the UK electorate vote his way? That would be an interesting way to vote at elections and I'm pretty sure its how dictators work? That's not very democratic is it?

The vote would be on what would happen after Brexit, something that hasn't, so far, been put to the electorate.

That's nothing new - we don't get to vote on how the government apply austerity cuts, or on which benefits get increased and which not, or various home or foreign office policies. So I wasn't expecting a vote on HOW we brexit, just as to whether we do or not.

Surely another vote on HOW is more democracy, with the bonus of people having to put their brains in gear before voting?

How patronising. The idea that if people voted to brexit, they did so without thinking. The same could be said of those who voted to stay.

Let's not start that debate again.

You yourself said that you didn't care what ideas and views were put forward in the pre referendum debates, your mind was already made up, which only goes to prove my point.

If there were to be another referendum on HOW you would have to listen to formulate an opinion.

So you'd be completely happy for the politicians to decide on a Norway model with full access to the single market, full free movement of people, compliance with various EU legislation and monetary contributions into the EU?

Its difficult to see a 'how ' question could be formulated.

the sole purpose of such a referendum would be to overturn the brexit vote
