    OP
Apologies for straying from your question.

According to Tripadvisor there are 5 hotels with pools (although I would check the accuracy of this before booking)

How can you tell which ones have pools? I did have a peek at TA before posting here but couldn't find hotels specifically with pools.

As for question-gate, I wasn't bothered by the question about needing a pool. This reply " My 2p's worth............99.9% of people do not want or have need of a pool the night before a flight so why should the vast majority subsidise the 0.1% that want it." was surprisingly hostile. I wasn't complaining about there not being pools, just asking for suggestions. ;)

With Hotels.com after you done your initial search, you can add 'facilities' with thing that you'd like
There are a few with pools, various distance from LGW and various budgets

p.s. my sprogs are always happier staying in a hotel with a pool, rather than a pool without one.

& if my sprogs are happy, then Mrs Cat is happy
& if Mrs Cat is happy, then I'm happy
& if we're all happy, then its job done

You should se a filter option on the left hand side after you type in the location/hotels part and the initial results appear. There is a box against facilities, just mark the one for 'Pool' and TA displays those you are looking for.

I already mentioned avoiding the Europa. When filtered the Cottesmore Green comes up as an option. This is in my mind not really an airport hotel and quite some way from LGW. Options are fairly limited.

But unless there are photos, or comments in hotel reviews about the pool, then it could be totally unsuitable for a toddler. A Leisure Centre enroute to or v.close to LGW is a better option.

Sorry OP if you don't like the reply.

I searched high and low for those stats you posted but couldn't find them.

Where did you get them from

Some TA reviews will give clues.

Probably best I don't mention on a public forum.

    A shame though.

The Europa is one of the few LGW accessible airport hotels with a pool, but avoided by practically everyone who wants a dip before catching a flight.
