Gatwick hotel with pool?

Does anyone know if there is a hotel with a pool near Gatwick? We're flying out early one morning, so are planning to stay over the night before. My 4yo would be thrilled to have a pool!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Crowne Plaza Gatwick/Crawley, but it's about 10 minutes drive from the terminals.

Sadly, they don't have a pool any longer.

Because I thought if you were going on a beach/pool holiday would you need a pool the night before. Get my thinking?
If you find a hotel with a pool it might be worth ringing them up before you book as often children's access is restricted to certain times.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

Copthorne Gatwick or Sandman Signature. Both around 3-4 miles from the airport, neither particularly cheap but maybe you'd find a deal.0

I didn't realise people need to justify their choices :huh:Ms_Chocaholic wrote: »Because I thought if you were going on a beach/pool holiday would you need a pool the night before. Get my thinking?
Nobody NEEDS a pool, but alot of people LIKE to have one. OP said their 4 year old would be thrilled to have a pool so what does it matter where they're going?
Or are only people going on specific types of holiday allowed to stay in airport hotels with a pool (if they can find one)?

I thought these forums were for discussing things. Nothing wrong with the question.0 -

Discussing yes, but I've noticed this becoming an increasingly trend on here recently though.
Someone asks a simple question, first thing they get asked is why they want to do that!
Because they do! Different people like/want different things, who cares why? What does it matter? It's their choice.
If the OP had asked whether it was a good idea to look for a hotel with a pool, the question would be fair enough.

People that ask "...why they want to do that?" are usually [but not always] trying to help the OP, and possibly offer a better alternative.
The OP [not in the case of this thread] often haven't clearly thought out their question or done any homework of their own. They might not have thought about the weather, the location, the length of time to travel, the costs, whether what they want to do is realistic in the time-frame. All sorts of stuff really.
And tbh it's often the case that questioning a question will bring more objective discussion into the thread. Of course, it sometimes goes the other way too.0
