Oh I see. So the air gaps which you had mentioned previously is the gap directly between the area (face) of the slab and the soundproof plasterboard which is subsequently SCREWED over this?
When the slab is inserted in between the studs, I suppose since it's tight to the studs it possibly doesn't need to be nailed in in any way to secure it?

I've noticed a product referred to as stud adhesive on YouTube.
Do you use this product for screwed-on wall plasterboard, or perhaps this is only usually used for ceilings, or wall plasterboard which is nailed on?0 -
I'd stick to what I have said. It is easy to do and it is tried and tested.0
