I don't know where you live nor where your loved ones are but there are still many places in this country where £80k could buy you a decent small home outright. That would at least keep a safe roof over your head for the rest of your life.
Disregard the suggestion if circumstances wouldn't permit but better perhaps to put your money into your own safety than into the hands of the nearest publican. Good luck.0 -
Thank you all so much again. I'm most definitely a home bird and always have been. I don't like the pub at all and have no desire to join him.
I want to grow things and have animals. He doesn't.
We want different things in life. We are trying to stay together but I just don't know how.
Maybe things will settle down ......0 -

Maybe they will but once the house sale has gone through is you'll have the equity from the house available in the bank. Please try to guard against your DH just frittering it away in the pub until there's none left.0 -

Heart to heart communication is the only way forward! Just focus on communicating with him better and consciously and things may change. You already spent a lot of time with him.Love is the answer :j0
