Facing up and cracking on

Think I might spend the evening scraping the barrel to see if I can find anything else to sell. I love the 1% challenge, my 1% is £39 as one of my cards was at £3900 when I started. All I have to think about is getting my next £39. I was doing quite lucrative surveys and market research but it has slowed down. Swagbucks is taking years. So is Shoppix.0

1. £2363.14
2. £2629.48
3. £5350
4. £70360 -
No payments to report but I did my monthly spreadsheet of what we spent and its so nice to see that we spend less than we earn each month. We're going through the planning application process and so I'm just keeping any extra money in the bank awaiting my next bill from the architect. It all moves so slowly!0

Had a really nice weekend and spent a bit but also cashed out Shoppix. It's borderline if it is worth it or not, it has probably taken me two months to get a fiver. But it isn't much effort.
Did some surveys and sold something so am now up to 40% paid on debt 1. Feels good. My target is 60% before we go away in 5 weeks, that's going to be very tough.0 -
Signed up to that ice loyalty thing that was on the MSE email, hoping it all goes through and I get a £10 voucher I can use in M&S or John Lewis to get some clothes.
Up to 42% on my 1% challenge. Not much else in the pipeline in extra income though.0 -
I'm the same as you love the 1% challenge. October 2020 isn't that long away to be debt free :-)0

I love MSE! Just got £20 of M and S vouchers as my husband and I both signed up to the ICE loyalty thing that it said about in the weekly email. It was sooooo simple. And I bought two things we really need.:money: Wish there were more regular amazing deals like that! Compared to the time I put in to Swagbucks and I've not even got one voucher yet!!!!0

1st Aug
Debt 1: £2017.28
Debt 2: £2579.48
Debt 3: £5100
Debt 4: £6754
Total: £16,450.80 DFD October 2020 (still)
So that's nearly a grand paid off in the past month which is great. Will have to slow it down the next couple of months as we have had a lot of expenses from our extension plans. We'll have to wait for the dust to settle.
I really like having 4 debts though as you can watch each of them going down, this time next month debt 1 will begin with a 1, debt three will begin with a 4 and the total will begin with a 15!0 -
Hi everyone! Extension is done and our debt is now a whopping £34,743.60. All on 0% for 2 years ish. We decided to put more on 0% and borrow less on our mortgage as this is cheaper in the long run. We also thought you ten to forget about your mortgage but credit card debt feels more pressing. It's slightly strange to have such a large total, but also it was a more sensible way of doing things.
Debt 1: £6,273.04
Debt 2: £1,443.11
Debt 3: £12,367.16
Debt 4: £10,760
Debt 5: £3,900
Total: £34, 743.60 DFD July 2024
I'm starting with debt 2 and the 1% challenge as it is only £14.43 and it will be nice to get it down to 4 debts instead of 5.0 -

Just popping in to say hi! I have a large debt figure too and will probably have to add to it with some house refurbishments and holiday to Oz at the end of next year. This debt busting definitely doesn't go in a straight line! Is that the end of your home improvements?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
DFD:Nov 22/June 22
Mortgage: €199,712
MFD: March 2042/July 20340
