Good luck PixarFan! Lay it on with the EA that this is really your last possible offer, you've had to scrape together another £1.5k because you really want the house etc. and can be as flexible as they want you to be re timescales. Fingers crossed![STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000

Thanks copperjar! I have made the call! Estate agent says, like last time, he will try his very best! I do think our offer is brilliant, and I think they will not get an offer higher than ours. Our only problem is, we have gone in and been keen and offered early (the house has only been on the market two weeks), so the owners may feel they want to leave it on the market longer. I hope they take the estate agents advice. I will let you know how I get on ... it is all very exciting/scary!!0

Good luck! You never know, our vendor accepted a lower offer and their house had only been on the market for a week. EA really pushed for us and the fact we had sold already and wanted a quick turnaround worked in our favour. If the people you are buying off haven't found anywhere yet, being flexible about giving them time to find a property might work. Flexibility either which way is another big selling (buying!!) point for you[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000

Thank you!
Unfortunately, it got turned down. I am giving up for a little while I think, so much stress!0 -
So sorry Pixar. I bet they don't sell at the price they want. Maybe a bit of a waiting game on that one now. If it's not sold in a couple of weeks might be worth another call[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000

Thank you guys! We have backed tracked a little, and we have asked to view it one more time. Life is too short right? It is only £2,500 more ... so we are going to view it, see what we feel and then decide if we want to go ahead or call it a day. Eeeeeeeeeek!!0

For what it's worth Pixar I think you're doing the right thing. You obviously really like the house and haven't found anything else. I often think we could have got ours for a couple of thousand less or sold for a bit more, but in the grand scheme of things £2.5k isn't much if you are intending on staying there for a long time. Good luck!![STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000

We saw the property today and we are going to go for it! We love it and it clearly will make a lovely first time home for us. Going to put the offer in tomorrow, so fingers crossed!!0

Yay! Fingers crossed Pixar! Sounds like you've definitely made the right decision, really hope they accept and you can get your dream house
We sign the contracts on Tuesday - exactly 5 weeks since having offer accepted! You could be in by Christmas!
