Your tablet may be able to serve as a bluetooth audio source, depending on the make. You could use a PC to convert ("rip") the digital audio from the CD into mp3 format and transfer to the tablet, and then pair the tablet with the speakers to play from there. That would avoid the extra digital -> analogue -> digital conversions from using a transmitter plugged into the headphone socket.
(Or if you buy your CDs from amazon, I think they let you download the mp3 version for free.)0 -

Yes if cd's are bought from Amazon you can download the mp3 version. Won't work of course if the cd's weren't bought from Amazon but a third party.0
