If you are on antihistamine then it's not the cats
If you have gas or solid fuel in your home you need a monitor
I'm sorry but that is simply not true.
I take prescription AH for many reasons, still does stop acute reaction to "cat fever", only avoidance works for me.
Not saying it's the case for the OP but your statement isn't true.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

Consider what a cat allergy can cost the NHS if someone allergic to them continues to own.
This was posted in the "in my home section", my comments are based around that, nothing to do with anyone's love of animals
My cat allergy has cost the NHS £0 and I've lived with cats my whole life.0 -

Very true however as the OP says it happens when they go home & I presume the kittens are there all day & would therefore be subjected to it for a much longer time & the OP hasn't said there is anything wrong with them I'm guessing it isn't, but yes a very good suggestion that the OP gets an alarmI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
As someone who is extremely allergic to cats, I find what you have described to be classic signs of allergic reaction. Whether it is to the kittens or something in your house I'm not sure, but most likely it's the kitties. Headaches are very common as they signify your sinuses are swelling up in reaction. Do be tested to make sure. If you are allergic then you will probably have to remove the babies from your home. I have had allergy shots for years and even though they help tremendously I could never live in a house with a cat. Your symptoms sound as though you most likely won't be able to either because you are allergic past a runny nose and itchy eyes. You are having an anaphylactic reaction showing it is not a slight allergy.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

I'm not sure diagnosing an anaphylactic reaction or otherwise from an Internet forum post is a good idea.
If the OP is in any doubt they should see their GP.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
thanks it is very hard to get a doctors appointment, they only have appointments available next week but they said if I call up Saturday at 8am I maybe able to get booked in that day, was hoping it was more of a flu/bug but unsure, yesterday I noticed I now had some spots on my shoulder which get a little itchy and then two on my other arm and two on my legs(don't look anything like flea bites), and today at work I have had a terrible headache all day. took antihistamine tablet this morning too. hopefully see what the doctor says Saturday if can get booked in then before next week.0

I'm very allergic to cats - I can't go anywhere near them or in a house where they've been. My symptoms are breathing difficulties and running eyes and nose. I've never had a headache though.0
