If there is any suspicion that you have cat allergies then for your sake please get rid of them.

Your doc or nurse can test easily, don't ignore the advice from thereon.

yea I really didn't think it was due to the kittens, I have had them 12 days now, it was just because the symtoms I have were like a cold/flu but were only when I am home and not outside/at work which made me think its a home issue.

Have the kittens been neutered yet? I have had cats all my life (but never un-neutered kittens) and never been allergic to them before. When I got my kittens I developed allergic symptoms but once neutered the symptoms disappeared.

    This

If you are on antihistamine then it's not the cats

Many many years ago I lived in a house that had been converted into studios, and it was because one snowy cold winter and I was the only one out working all day, I used to come home, feel ill, sleep, feel like rubbish, because every studio had their fumes going up the one chimney, and leaked into mine

Snotty nose, bunged, headachy, continuously tired, confused , just like the flu but not

    Get a monitor

If you have gas or solid fuel in your home you need a monitor

    ktcoil,

I asked the board guide to move your last post because this isn't the right area of the site for pet questions, so you would be better posting on the pet board

    Exactly what I was thinking!

My father in law was poisoned last winter. Thankfully he's okay and it was deduced in time.

Might be the right board if it's CO poisoning!

No they can't, every cats dander is different, so the GP would need to refer OP, the specialist would need to collect the kittens dander and use that to determine an allergy.

I'm allergic to my dog and cat, it really isn't an issue, just pop an anti-histamine in the moulting season as more dander gets out.

Well I haven't a clue what dander is, but I'm allergic to cats, every single part of them, dander up or not. The GP can test so I don't agree with you.

Whatever chemical they jab you with to test I guess it must contain some dander. Personally after 5 mins in a room that houses cats, anytime of year or any sex(tom or she), I'm itching and rubbing my eyes, I avoid like the plague
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

No, just someone that puts their own health before a cats.
Consider what a cat allergy can cost the NHS if someone allergic to them continues to own.

This was posted in the "in my home section", my comments are based around that, nothing to do with anyone's love of animals
