I was driving from Tipton Rd towards Brierly Hill. Road markings on the left hand line clearly says "Brimingham, B'Hill'. The other driver said she was going from Dudley towards Birmingham Rd, collision occured when she tried to turn left towards Birmingham Rd from the middle line. I believe as she was in the middle lane she should make sure it was safe to do so and check if the road is clear. Damage to my car proofs I was in front so she must seen me...
Additionaly I was waiting on the traffic lights before entering the roundabout there was about 10 cars waiting with me in the middle line, I'm not sure how she managed to be next to me, I believe if she went from Dudley she should wait on the traffic lights. As I said before google maps are not up to date.
I phoned the insurance company today, they will try to establish who was at fault but if it will be 50/50 I would lose my no claims discountnot happy at all....

From what I can see, you are both entitled to be in the lanes you are in going by the lane markings on the roundabout. It's not the most helpful roundabout layout and one that is becoming more and more common. I think its meant to ease congestion in the approach. She should definitely have been looking for you. I fear you may need witnesses to help you though as it could easily be one word against another without dash cam footage. The layout is pretty poor and she was probably expected you to take the first exit due to the layout. I think she was at fault as she must have just assumed you would take the first exit.
You need to make the picture of damage open to the public, at the moment it's private. Much will depend where the damage is.0 -
All depends on whether she was in the middle lane next to you at the entrance OR whether you pulled out onto the roundabout as she was coming round it.
The road markings are actually quite clear, the problem is that a lot people assume all roundabouts are the same.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

From what she said she couldn't be in the middle lane at the entrance to the roundabout because she said she went from Dudley and the cars from Dudley were waiting on the red light. As I said before, at the entrance to roundabout there are traffic lights and I went on green with the other cars. Traffic comming from Dudley on the right was stopped on another traffic lights. Hope this makes sense

Below is the picture of the other car, she had only few scratches on the front bumber from the passenger side:

She phoned the ambulance saying her ribs are hurting.... Personally I think it is an insurance scam...
And the picture of traffic comming from Dudley:

While I had green all the traffic from right was stopped...still don't know how she managed to get next to me.
Maybe she is not telling the truth, but it will be difficult to prove.
Anyway thanks for all the replies and time taken to read all my messagess. I've got a feeling it will be 50/50. Shame, because I still think I wasn't at fault so why should I be punished by losing the NCD and paying the excess?0 -
Do you have an independent witness?0

Unfortunately I haven't got any witness, nobody stopped...0

damage is fairly near the front. If she argues you pulled in front of her, you'll need someone to counter that or it will I supect go 50/500

Well the only way this could have happened then, is if one of you ran a red light????“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Well I went on green light, there were about three cars in front of me and few behind, but I undrstand it would be difficult to prove without independent witness...0
