Advice - car accident

Hello,

I need an advice following car accident, hope somebody would be able to help.
Below is the link with the picture of the roundabout markings:

I just had an accident on the roundabout, I was driving on the outside left line (black arrow), trying to go straight. Lady in the other car was driving in the middle lane (red arrow), she tried to turn left. I was in front of her, accident happened when she tried to turn left.
She kept saying it is my fault because I can't go straight from the left lane.
Before I entered the roundabout road markings were saying I can go left or straight.
So whose fault it is? Mine or hers? In my eyes she changed the line so she should wait until the road is clear, am I right?

DO you have a google maps reference for it so we can see the approach to the roundabout? It might depend on the markings in the lead up.

Without an independent witness don't be surprised if the insurance settle 50/50.

The markings are very confusing. I can see why the accident happened. The road markings at the entry to the roundabout are key.

And looking at your photo I would agree with 50/50.

Your lane is left turn only, she's in a straight on or right but she's went left. (going by road markings in google earth)

Both wrong I'd say.

Below is the link for road markings before entering roundabout, I was on the left line. It is not the same road but the road markings are exactly the same. This roundabout was changed recently so google maps are not up to date.

I was in front of her, she hit my driver side door, so I had no chance to react...

I posted just a sample picture because the roundabout I was on has been changed and google maps are not up to date. Pictures shows exactly the same markings as on the roundabout I was on.

Just looked it up on google maps and you're in the wrong. The left lane goes left only and not ahead.

Op says it has been changed since these were done.

OP do you live near the area? Could you take a photo of the approach to the roundabout so we can see the road markings on the road?

The road markings before entering roundabout are exactly the same as on the link I posted above but I would take a real pic tomorrow as it is dark now and I had a glass of wine to relax
