Yes, it is true, the lady in-laws natter on about their Sox Life to me, which makes a change from my work life when the ladies keep talking about their bowels (??????). I must have led a very sheltered life, or have a face that shouts 'please feel free to talk about your bowels in a non-judgemental setting!'
My face lies, I am judging 🤔🧐🤔🧐 and frankly being horrified, but I just nod and smile and think 'surely not AGAIN with the bowel stuff!'.
