Many years ago ago I cooked and froze a joint of beef! Security did ask what it was.

There is a Eroski superstore about 2km from CLC .head into fuengirola turn left at foot bridge. we walked it a few times. My cheapest beer of all time 99c for 6 pack. Cava @ 2€ a bottle.
On site Safari restaurant will wipe out your budget.
Fuengirola has plenty tapas places 1€ each etc.
California suites are lovely. Fully kitted out

I hope you weren't Grizzly .
  • I do worry if you have no back up to your spending money, what happens if you need to buy something from a Pharmacy etc?

How many people does the 150 Euros cover? It's basically 20 Euros a day very little leeway there.

BTW Aldi have packs of mini cereals at 99p at the moment.

What about taking dried milk to make up when you are there. Milk isn't cheap and as you are having cereals you will need this.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

We used to take bacon with us,freeze it before you go then just before you set off for the airport, take it out of the freezer, put it in a plastic food bag, wrap it in tinfoil and put that in another plastic food bag.It will still be frozen when you arrive, chuck it in the fridge and you can cook a good breakfast every morning with cheap local tomatoes and eggs, you can even do the same with a pack of lard to cook with.Enjoy your holiday.

. I was mainly thinking of breakfast type things and the odd snack, so probably a box of those mini cereals (if I can find them on offer before we go)
Kelloggs variety pack cereals in poundland at the moment.

I've taken marmite to Australia before and it seemed a reasonable thing to do lol.

It would have seemed a lot less reasonable if Customs/Immigration had found it!

    Why?
As long as it gets declared and it's un-opened, they'll let it in
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

    Frozen bacon? Stop it.

I just keep food chilled. LIDL cool bag with perhaps a freezer brick or gel bag or two inside. No need to destroy good food by freezing it :)
