Es Parking Enforcement LTD

Hello all,
I have read the newbie thread and tried my best to get clued up on things relating to NTKs.
I have just received in the post a letter from Gladstones Solicitors on behalf of ES Parking Enforcement LTD. The letter states that I owe £150 and that Gladstone's client, the aforementioned PPC has previously written to me regarding the offence which i am assuming means they claim they have sent me a NTK. However this not the case and the only letter or any knowledge i have of this offence is this letter i have just received from Gladstones which is dated august 2nd 2016.
Now they include that the offence occurred on the 14th May 2016, that is nearly 3 months ago. In this time i have had nothing other than the Gladstones letter (no picture of my car, no mention of what the offence is and no mention of exact location, only that it relates to spinningfields estate manchester).
Now i have read this forum all evening and i must say its been very informative but i haven't found anyone else who has had this situation where 3 months down the line after nothing at all you just get a solicitors letter.
I have found an article on the Manchester Evening News website that relates to this same company that i found quite interesting (some of you may already be familiar with this article). Also may i add that it looks like the area the guy in the article got caught is the same they claim i have committed an offence.
I would be grateful for any advice as in the newbie thread it said that if its an IPC member company which they are, that i can write a letter that has been provided by the member "salmosalaris". I would be grateful for any advice or guidance relating to my problem and also whether or not i should draft the letter baring in mind all i have is a solicitors letter and no details for the PPC.
Many Thanks Guys

Some people never receive a PCN or NTK. So you need to respond to the Gladstones letter and state no other letters have been received at all so you cannot be held liable.
However, be aware that you may end up getting small claim papers anyway which are defendable. We have shedloads of Gladstones claim threads on here, like this one:

Plenty more when you search. But at the moment, you need a response to the Letter before Claim (LBC) so try a search of here and pepipoo forum for LBC response threads like this:

Try this one, just like yours, this poster got no previous letters:

On pepipoo, seek out Gan's replies to Gladstones. Always concise and the example in that last link is all you need for now.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for your response Coupon-mad. I have done some more research and followed your links which have been very helpful. I am going to email Gladstones to acknowledge receipt of the LBC using Gan's response in my own words.
Guess i have just got to wait for them to respond to that.0 -
Hi All
I too have received a letter from Gladstone for the same location titled Letter Before Claim. I followed the newbie guide but am getting lost in translation trying to work out what my appropriate response should be. If I had received one PCN letter previously from ES Parking Enforcement, then the Letter Before Claim from Gladstones, what chance of appeal do I have and to whom?
Most of what I read said to respond to Gladstone to acknowledge receipt of the letter. But I can't find what I am supposed to do after that?
This letter has literally got me tearing my hair out. Any help or direction would be gratefully received.
