Where does everyone do their grocery shop

I tend to do a shop for long life things at Costco when they are on offer (tea, loo roll, baked beans, crisps, sugar...) perhaps 3 or 4 times a year.
For weekly shops I go to whichever supermarket I have a voucher for and look at what special offers they have before I go. If I do not have any vouchers I go to Aldi/Lidl. I visit a local market for fresh fruit and veg most weeks.
I find the https://www.mysupermarket.co.uk website useful to look for offers - it can make a massive difference to the total cost of a food shop.:A0 -
Our two nearest supermarkets are Lidls and Waitrose (both less than 1 mile away) with a Sainsbury's, Aldi, Morrison, farm foods, Iceland and Tesco all within a 3-5 mile radius so a fair choice. I normally stick to Lidls as I think the meat and veg are really good value with a shop once or twice a month at Waitrose for the odd few items and sometimes some luxury food items I can't get at Lidls. I don't use the rest much although this Christmas I have done a basic online groceries shop at Tesco as Lidls does not do online shopping and I can't bear the crowds at Christmas. Sainsbury's I find very expensive these days.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
