The way this thread has gone is brilliant, added a bit of gravity to it!

Perhaps one of the biggest reasons to leave the eu was because all these 'experts' would be heading abroad for better jobs. Let's just hope they do, because I reckon you could just pick a bunch of random people and say to them, run the bank, you can hav RBS. We can't pay you much, only say £500,000 each, tax free and the same into your pension fund. No bonus no free health care, no company car, expenses yes but no 1st class travel.

In fact how about a reality tv show, like big brother, get a random selection of applicants, and film them bringing the bank back into profit. Now that would be interesting.

    Cheers fj

There was a bit of consternation at many of the western banks after the gfc. The Chinese banks dominated the list of large solvent banks with their bosses earning six figures rather than eight figures.

So you are claiming your p*nis is large enough to distort space time then I presume?

An "expert" on a documentary said that bodies dont attract each other, but that their mass warps space causing other things with mass to appear to be attracted, but they are just following the warped space.

Mass tells spacetime how to deform and spacetime tells mass how to move.

I thought Newtonian gravitational theory had been proved to be "accurate" (or at least a very good approximation) only in a specific range of circumstances, but not at all accurate at subatomic. It is no longer a "force" but the side effect of mass/energy fields distorting the space time continuum?

Likewise what is still the theory of evolution has a lot more evidence going for it than the "theory" of creationism, which does not need a huge amount of thought about the evidence to dismiss it.

On the other hand theory of incompetents being in charge of the banks and financial stability a few years ago has a lot going for it.

bigfreddiel, have you considered going into partnership with Michael Gove? The two of you could provide expert consultancy to rid the country, and then the world, of experts. Don't worry if it makes no sense, it would definitely be worth a try, and the two of you would get on like a house on fire.

Unfortunately some people just don't get the big picture.
