You could try phoning around and finding out what others would charge to store the items on a per diem basis. Then phone the company expecting the goods again and tell them that as from 1 hour after the phone call has ended you will be charging per day or part thereof and no access to the goods will be given until the bill is settled in full.

I would send a letter and also phone them again.

You're happy to make up charges for goods storage but you feel parents shouldn't get a small compensation for disappointing children at a cinema, how strange.

Would it not just be easier to drop them over to get rid of problem.

I'm another one for informing them that if they don't collect by x you'll leave them outside. They can't and won't sue you for damage.

Are you sure they can't and wont

    Tell the courier.
Unfortunately, as George Michael said, they're not interested. We have collections by this particular courier every day and they won't take them.
    Ring Head Office again.
I actually rang them again yesterday and they just said I need to speak to the warehouse that the parcels were intended for...they were not much help. It doesn't help that the head office is about 70 miles away so I can't even expect them to come for the parcels.

Unfortunately, this is not possible due to the size of the parcels (it would take me 5 trips even in a c4 picasso), but regardless, I shouldn't have to go out of my way, using my fuel, because they cannot be bothered :(

I would send email/phone and state that as from "xyz" time on Monday I would be charging storage per hour until the parcels are collected {around £10} that should get something moving :0)

Unless of course the company concerned know that this charge is pretty much unenforceable as a contract has to be agreed by both parties before it becomes binding.

I would phone then WRITE (email) to them giving them 7 days to collect.

Tell them after this date they will be sold at auction on eBay (short auction), and you will send them the proceeds minus any costs.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Tell them to sort it out or you'll stop using them!
