Swim and walk this afternoon.  The beach was very busy where we usually swim but we managed to keep away from most of the crowds.  I went for a walk in the trees behind my estate instead of along the seafront as I expected the one in my town would be just as busy as the beach and the prom isn't that wide.  If I get up early tomorrow I might head out for a walk earlier as it will be low tide so I can walk on the sand and also it will be quieter as the forecast says we are due another nice day.

I was already thinking of switching my jobs for the next 2 days over but having woken up to a bit of snow it is definitely happening now as I won't be in the garden.  I am going to take my decorations down today and get everything ready to put in the loft whenever I get the chance.  As gardening looks unlikely tomorrow too I am going to try and sort the other things that are in the loft so everything is ready for the charity shops when they reopen, it might just be that I have to leave the tree until I can have some help.  I would also like to have a rejig of a couple of things in the garage so I can set my turbo trainer back up as I doubt I will be outside for a while.
I am going to force myself out for a walk in the next hour or so while the snow still has a bit of traction.

A walk will do you good. We are having picture postcard snow today - nice big chunks alternating with fine.

It was a good walk, everyone returned my pleasantries and the snow was safe enough to walk on.  I have been for a swim, probably the coldest I have been afterwards so far so after a quick chat we sat in our cars to warm up to a sensible level to drive.  Feet aren't warmed enough yet to jump in the shower but I shouldn't be far from it, I might eat dinner first as that usually helps.
I have run out of time to take the decorations down today as I am having a video evening with some of the girls so will do it tomorrow as planned.

It was so lovely to see my girl friends on screen last night, a couple of hours of nattering was needed by all of us I think.
Meal plan done for the next week and shopping list ready to head out in about an hour.  I don't need to buy any meat as I am using everything from the freezer so just fruit, veg and a few staples should see me through.
All my mortgage payments from the 1st are now showing and my mortgage is now below £88k and each individual product is under the next bracket :)
It will be tight to get everything done today.  Shopping and decorations down this morning, swim this afternoon and then ex is coming round for dinner.  It is achievable so long as I don't pick my book up!

I could do with you coming and blitzing my house. You always sound like you have everything spick and span. Enjoy your swim and your company.

I wish, I have whizzed the vacuum around but haven't actually cleaned my house since the end of November.  I am hoping to restart in some way from tomorrow but I am still not sure I can actually push myself this far yet.  I am unsure if I should start making myself do some of these things or continue to give myself some slack for a bit longer but how much longer until it just becomes an excuse?  Now our return to work has been delayed by 2 weeks I feel it should be a great time to get back into some sort of a routine in advance of that but hadn't realised how much the coming week was going to rock things.  I will see how I feel tomorrow.
Today's swim was the coldest by far.  There was a real chill to the wind, the waves were lapping around us and icy rain started as we were getting changed after.  Normally we stand a chat for a bit, even just a quick cup of tea before warming up in our cars but today we all got straight in our cars.  It was a little strange but we just needed to get out of the elements.
Away from cleaning I have a couple of things I would like to get done this week but a lot if dependant on the weather.  I will check the forecast and come up with a few more easy jobs to keep me doing something.
I finished my book earlier so will be starting a new one tonight.
