I was in a really strange mood last night and couldn't work out why.  Ex asked what was wrong (before that I wasn't aware anything was), I suspect I was probably tired and in need of food but I couldn't shift it.  I chatted to a friend on the phone last night, I love our calls and that didn't help either and after a restless night things were no better this morning.  I suspect in the end I needed a swim and some outside time as I went swimming this morning.  It was foggy but that made it so quiet and serene so I spent most of the time with my head out of the water taking it all in.  I am always the first one out of the water now the temperature has dropped and it was only while I was getting changed at the car listening to the birds that I realised my own fog had lifted and I loved finding the internal glow.
I have been in touch with a joiner about some jobs so I am waiting for him to get back in touch and have asked my electrician for some advice on some lights I have found for the main rooms.  Just in from a walk and now I need to call a local blind company to sort an issue with a carriage unit and oven repairer to try and fix the 2 rings on my hob that have stopped working.

I rang one blind company who wanted me to pay a call out fee when all the others are free so I have gone with a different one.  The oven/hob company are also charging a fee but if it can be fixed there and then that is all I pay whereas the other one was the starting figure.  I am just waiting to hear back from the joiner and blind people to confirm times for them to come out.  I have done my ironing and a few leg strengthening exercises and now enjoying sitting down before I cook my dinner and head out for tri swim training.

A few things to do this afternoon
    1. Order some new trainers - shop not answering phone so message left
    2. Register new washing machine and tumble dryer
    3. Fill out sheet for appraisal with what I have done so far this year
    4. Price up projectors for work
    5. Strength work
They are in order from easiest to most difficult although I probably should use the model I read about the other week to get the most important things done first. Must do jobs 3 and 1 in priority order, should do 4 and 5.  The good thing is most of them can be done with a cup of tea so I will put the kettle on and get cracking.

Still ticking along here.  Money wise everything is as normal, I have just done a check of all my accounts etc and still have £165 unaccounted for this month so it will be interesting to see where that total is at the end of the month.  I have a follow up appointment with my financial advisor on Thursday to discuss the funds my money will be going into based on my new monthly total and also where some are being diverted because they were no longer performing as well as they should be.
I have a busyish week at work until Thursday and then I think things start calming down.  I have been doing a lot of reading on improving my coaching and delegating skills so I am going to try and implement these to find a way of them working for my style.  Originally we had Thursday off so I had a couple of trades coming to give me a quote in the morning but I need to remember to reschedule these as I won't be here now.
I still need to get the final Christmas presents as I have done nothing since I had my buying frenzy last month.  I am aware I have a month left to sort all this out but as I don't live anywhere near most of the people I have bought gifts for I need to be organised so I can post everything with plenty of time.
Right, I need to get my meal plan and shopping list done as I need to get out to the supermarket at 9am.  Plenty of meat in the freezer so I might be able to use a lot of that and just buy fresh items.

Potential busy time coming up at work so I am trying to get myself organised, more than normal anyway.  I already have a shepherd's pie to cook for tonight and will use the weekend to batch cook in the slow cooker so I have plenty of meals in the freezer should they be required.  Just some work washing and ironing to get done and clean my house for the week and finally get the last couple of Christmas presents and I am ready to be busy at work or will just be very organised!
I had my update appointment with the financial advisor yesterday, all my S&S ISA funds have been reset to make my model portfolio better and the new monthly amount is set to start being paid from next month.  I have changed all my standing orders to reflect this so will kind of be working towards 2021's goals from December, good job I have already hit my targets.
I have a joiner coming out this morning to let me know if what I want doing is possible or what else I can do and give me a quote.  The blind company and oven repairer had to be rescheduled as I ended up working yesterday, hopefully they will be coming next week instead.  I am going to buy my new lights today, I think it should be easy enough to fit the one in the dining room to see what light it gives out but I will get in touch with the electrician to book a time in for him to do the work.

I have absolutely no idea what to do today, I am not a fan of weekends at the best of times and while I can't do all of my normal hobbies I find them even quieter.  It certainly seems like a low day so I need to get moving and busy to keep my mind occupied.

Very impressive how well you are doing with your financial goals - including allowing some fun spends for yourself. Hope you manage to get out and have a better day than you imagine

I find something to research when this happens to me. For example, going onto a gardening forum on FB triggered some research into suitable plants for a shady area - making the distinction between wet shady and dry shady - then on to wild flowers and their medicinal uses. All very informative and indirectly helpful to me

Day off work today so I have a list to keep me company.  I have someone coming out to look at my blinds this morning as there is a problem with the cable, hopefully it can be repaired and I don't need a whole new unit.
I bought some ceiling lights for my living and dining room last week but I don't like them so I need to take them back.  I want to create a moroccan theme in my living room but can't find much lighting that works so I think I might just need to put in a fitting I like and then furnish as I go although I am starting to change my mind slightly after looking at lights for hours online last night.  I quite like a warm lodge kind of idea and the colour scheme I have planned works well with that.  Once I have returned the lights I am going to have a look in some of the local shops to see what they have but I think I will be buying from the internet.
My main job today is to clean the inside of the windows.  I regularly get condensation which I have been wiping up but I noticed yesterday that the edges of the windows are very dirty so I obviously haven't been cleaning them when wiping!  I am going to use a light bleach solution and then use my vinegar one to clean and buff them up afterwards.

Be careful if your window frames are PVCU as bleach can stain them yellow - bicarbonate of soda with a little lemon juice is better. Obv not a problem with glass.

Are you looking at the diffused ceiling pattern from the traditional metal pierced pendant light? - I am often tempted by just a little cluster of three lamps on a table but no good for eating under in a dining room. Etsy is quite good for quirky designs, in my experience
