Corbyn today"Yes, I did walk through the train. Yes, I did look for two empty seats together so I could sit down with my wife, to talk to her. That wasn't possible so I went to the end of the train."
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-37173048
Why then did you release and publicize a video which showed you sitting on your own on the floor, saying it illustrated the problem that so many face - and clearly implying that not even one seat was available.
Incompetent liar.0 -
If he was looking for a place to sit with his wife then why does she not appear in the CCTV? Why didn't they sit in any of the numerous pairs of seats that were free? (I hope we don't have to rehash why they were at liberty to ignore the reserved labels.) When he sits down after filming the video, he sits on his own, in the aisle seat, despite the neighbouring window seat being free - if he was waiting for his wife he would have taken the window seat so she could sit down after him. Did he change his mind about wanting to sit next to his dear wife?
Absolutely laughable. My favourite line is "He [Corbyn] added that he was looking forward to meeting Virgin Trains to discuss regulatory issues that needed to be addressed "even before we take them back into public ownership"." I imagine that Branson has more important things to do.0 -

Incompetent liar.
His wife has made it quite clear that she doesn't want to be in the media spotlight so its no surprise that she wasn't in the film.
As an aside that seems to be something else that infuriates the MSM, (and you perhaps) about JC.
Doesn't think the Queen is better than him or anyone else.
Doesn't parade family members in front of the press like a bunch of grinning shop window mannequins.
Won't travel first class.

More likely explanation was that she didn't want to become embroiled in his cronies stupid ideas. For a potential leader of the country to look like a total prat takes some doing.0 -
His excuse is either he couldn't find a seat next to his wife, so he threw a sulk and sat on the floor, or people had bags on the seats and he is too much of a wimp to ask them to move them so he could sit.
"Dear Mr Putin, I couldn't help but notice that you have tanks in countries which they shouldn't be in. I'm not going to ask you to move them, I'll just go and sit in this corner over here until something changes."“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and who weren't so lazy.”0 -

Oh and no, if the Scottish ref and Salmond/Sturgeon is anything to go by, they'll save the best till last. Expect a damning memo based on 'something something Gaddfi' or something to appear in the Telegraph soon. This stuff is always timed and there's weeks to go yet.Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0 -

The really depressing part of the Corbynista's zeal and blind belief in Jezza is that they can't comprehend how other people could dislike him if it wasn't for some media conspiracy.
I'm sick of the conservatives and have been since before the last election. I'd have preferred Milliband propped up by the SNP to Cameron; and I was appalled by the collection of candidates for the conservative leadership that was so dire that May, who I dislike strongly, was least bad by some margin.
Yet given all that I still don't want Corbyn as Prime Minister. I can get over my disagreement with many of his policies and previous statements, and I appreciate that he has principles and is usually pretty honest, but he isn't close to capable of doing the job.
You can dismiss my view as being formed off distorted reporting, or misjudgement, or whatever you like and frankly I don't care. What I do care about is the fact that people like you will, by keeping Corbyn in place, end up giving us unchallenged conservative rule until at least 2025.
I'd struggle to come up with a complete list but just some of the things that put me off him that came immediately to mind are:- Keels over on a number of 'principles' (not singing the anthem) when it's politically expedient.
- Is happy for staff on a train to run about organising seating for him, even after he has intentionally made it difficult for them. Yeah he's just a normal guy...
- Seizes PR opportunities just as quickly as other politicians, but is too incompetent to do it well.
- Threatens and attacks people who dare to challenge his narrative and honesty (Branson, threats to deselect MPs).
- Leaves observers guessing about when his failures were intentional or incompetence (EU campaign)

Train gate is very damaging for JC. It blows to pieces his credibility as being authentic and honest. It also shows that he will lie and spin when it suits.0
