Yep, I think i would have to hold my hands up to that one if anyone complained.
Oh dear. I'd be keeping my fingers crossed that those trees grow back quickly and their owner(s) don't start causing you problems and a lot of expense. Do a rain dance. Every day.

I hope they come down hard on you - you've acted really badly.

Where did you find these cowboys?
  • Door leaflet :/ Never again. I thought it was set to be a pretty simple and trouble free type affair! Back to online ratings in future!

I presume you got them cut down to allow more sun in garden if not it looks terrible

Also a reputable tree surgeon would have mentioned it wasn't on your land

    Definitely a "p1key & son" job

Hahaha, thats behind the house, on presumably councils land! I wish I left the damn things alone now.
Flytipping as well. This could get expensive.

To go back to your original question, I don't think the price is that unreasonable. I'd drop the idea about challenging them for licences, considering you've paid someone to undertake criminal damage to someone else's property and then flytipped on their land.:)

Yeah, one of those things that you dont really know how they're going to look until its done. Hopefully a bit more sun in the garden, just hope they grow back a bit and look a little nicer!

  • Uh oh. Got a tree surgeon round to nite. Reckoned 4-500 tops. Not 1800. Spent 800 so far. Called the guy told him I'm not paying anything more. Then I get a call off Irish gypsies threatening me. Looks like this normal bloke contracts these guys out, classic. And a terrible oversight by me. The Irish calling me constantly on private numbers too. Called the cops and they are now in touch with Mr Chris gaskin the tree surgeon whos wife has denied all knowledge so far on the phone.

Stiff whiskey to nite and locking the door tight!
