Can an iPhone be unlocked?

Don't know if you want to give this ago but i did it and got my iPhone unlocked but i can't remember if i give my O2 account email but i would say get your mum to fill the form in and see what happens.
I think it worked out to be about £15 to unlock.

I had an iPhone 5 on O2. Got it unlocked at the end of my contract and moved to Tesco. I'm going on holiday soon. Will it be unlocked if I buy a SIM in the country I'm going to?

'unlocked' means to ALL networks

Are you sure you got it unlocked?
I thought tesco used O2, so it's no guarantee its been unlocked.

Maybe try another sim before you go. Got any friends with a nano sim on EE, vodafone, virgin, 3 to test it.

or buy one for 99p on ebay
