  • The amount of things you get done each day is impressive.

If I have more than one thing to do, I need to have a lie down first :p

  • Evening :)

Dilemma time. I want to pay off the MBNA as and when I can. DH wants me to save it up to the end of the month & add it on to the payment, so that we get the added interest on the savings account....unsure, as I really, really want to get it gone ASAP.
  • Also sold a book on Amazon, so need to post in the morning :)

How much would the interest be?

    Well done on your sale!

0.25% so don't really think it's worth it.

Agreed, how much would you get in interest?

I have to say from experience I find it better to pay off bit towards debts as and when I identify I have some spare money. If I save it until the end of the month, I run a very real risk of spending it. That's just me though, if you know you wouldn't spend it then it's not an issue for you to consider...

Me too, I'd spend it too.

Then for 0.25% interest I would say the more sensible option is make your OP's as and when you identify the money. :) xxx
  • Afternoon,

Busy day so far, kids went to the skatepark, I walked from there to the post office and then round to see my friend and pick up DD's Brownie camp forms then home. Bed has been made, lounge tidied, washing up done and dried, cleaned the hob (it was manky!) done some washing, last load on now, emptied bins and took what wouldn't sell of the kids clothes to the charity shop.

Need to do finances but DD has snaffled the laptop.

Hoover has been making a racket when it was being used, DH thought it might be the belt so trip to the local electrical shop £3 later and belt in Hoover and it seems better than ever :) much better than paying out nearly £300 for a new one :money:

Still need to iron and sort DS's cuddly, keep putting off fixing it.
