Here's to a better week for you. Saving £313 is a pretty good start to it already!
XxGOAL - debt free (except mortgage) by October 2017.

Good luck with the job hunt, lets hope something comes along soon.
I find the squares for a debt, very helpful. Seeing the squares coloured in as you start reducing the debt is a massive help to me - or maybe I am just a big kid who still likes colouring..whichever it works.
Anyway good luck X2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.
2017. Lets start this again shall we?
Debt 1 Cleared 2/1/17 £480 Gone forever :j

Afternoon,
The MBNA transfer has gone ahead, but they haven't added the 3% handling fee that they said they would? There was one other offer which was no handling fee but a 4.9% p.a for the life of the balance....I'm hoping that they've just forgotten the transfer fee.
I guess it doesn't really matter but I don't want to end up paying over the odds to clear it.0 -

Hubby is in pain bless him and he's like a grumpy bear!
DS is so looking forward to going, had a call from the school to say he'd handed in all the documents, so that's a relief...wish he was little again though Eyebright. He's nearly as tall as me now lol0 -
They don't stay little for long do they? I'm only 5"1 and my niece has towered over me since she was about 10/11 lol. She's now 13 and almost as tall as OH, who is 5"10 :eek:0

So glad you decided to do the transfer. At least you know every penny you pay off will reduce the balance you owe. I know you don't like them but I'm not sure any of us who have ever had a debt with any of them really like them. Means to an end and all that0 -
Bah humbug they did add the BT Fee, I was secretly hoping you wouldn't have to pay it lol
:p
But as PurpleFairy said, now you know that every penny you pay will go directly towards the debt, and not blinking on interest to feed the fat cat bankers pockets! Now the hard work starts to challenge yourself to pay it off in the 3 yearsyou can do it xx

Thanks ladies.
I was also hoping they'd forget the fee too lol
Still made my first payment today, couldn't resistbalance is already down to a nice round figure of £9250. Start as I mean to go on! In reality, I think things will plod a bit now until Christmas but once 2017 starts, I'm aiming to pummel it hard and beat it.
Not a NSD today, woke up with a headache so felt crap all day resulted in feeling sorry for myself spending on crap but I was a bit restrained and resisted KFC (only because the queue was out the door!) paid £30 for DD's starter kit for Guides and £12 for their Panto trip in December. Paid £42 for DS's Boulogne trip so he's all paid up too. Kids have a better social life than me! Lol
Dinner is prepared and in the oven ready for tomorrow. Just need to set the timer on the oven...chicken casseroleshould be ready about 7pm and then kids can have an early night.
I'm trying to get most things done in the morning, our bed I've made every morning so far, I washed up this morning and after dinner and dinner prep and the load I put in the washer this morning has gone in the drier and the load I've washed has finished and can go in the drier tomorrow.
Need to make my lunch in the morning and iron DS a shirt. I won't buy anything tomorrow. Oh I need to ring the recruitment agencies too and hassle them a bit.
Night all xx0
