Oh no!
What about the order I've made? It is obvious that even if I fill in the form from their mail it won't reach Hong Kong in time...
Any advice?0 -

I contacted my card provider Halifax and because I could not get a date for the refund from Simply Electronics they said they could not take any action. So looks like I have lost out there.0

Eh? What date? What refund?
If they've filed for bankruptcy then there won't BE any refund.0 -
This was before they went bankrupt.0

Best news ever.. Simply Electronics were a absolute nightmare to deal with as we found out to our regret. We ordered a mobile phone from what appeared to be a UK company only to find that it was based in Hong Kong , the phone eventually arrived faulty and in a previously damaged box. They initially refused to replace the item under waranty and under much arguing agreed to send a replacement out but were then going to charge us 75% of the cost of the phone in returning the faulty one as the box had been opened and damaged. After months of chasing and threatening to take them to the equivilent of trading standard in Hong Kong and reporting them to our credit card fraud department we finally got a full refund. So am I pleased by the news.. you bet I am0

My credit card company "Virgin" are covering my refund. I had to wait for 28 days before putting in my section 75 request buy the paid me out.
I ordered a phone that didn't arrive. I sent copies of ove 20 emails that I had sent and received from SE>
Providing your order was more than £100 I would go back to the Halifax and try again.
Good luck0 -
Sorry about the typos. Think my keyboard is dodgy!0

Hi
I apparently spoke to a Halifax call centre manager, I had sent in all the correspondence I had, but the insisted they were following the rules that Visa had given them. Which stated I must have a refund date email from the company. I pointed out they refused to do this. Halifax said all I could do was go to trading standards. I did this weeks ago and haven't heard from them either. The amount was £130. Think I'll change banks. I don't think Halifax will do anything more0
