  • Husband and self have bus passes; only problem is that there's about two buses a week where we live and so I could stand at the bus stop with my bus pass in my hot little hand, but unfortunately I wouldn't be going anywhere, or if I did, I couldn't get back again!:p

We drove to the outskirts of Guildford once and used our bus passes on the park and ride; it was marginally cheaper but hardly worth the effort (we might just as well have driven into the town and parked there.)
A cunning plan, Baldrick? Whatever it was, it's got to be better than pretending to be mad; after all, who'd notice another mad person around here?.......Edmund Blackadder.

Know the feeling, living in mid Devon there are very few buses where we want to go! We often go to Exeter to shop, it would take forever by public transport, 20 minutes by car on the very scenic Exe Valley road. Unfortunately, as far as I am aware, you still have to pay on the Park & Ride. If you have a planned operation, these days you have to "check in" on the day, at 7.30 am. The earliest we could get there by public transport (bus, our town doesn't have a train station) using a bus pass would be about mid-day:rotfl:
