Thanks for starting the thread off! I sort of made a plan yesterday and it's already been changed...

    In no particular order:

    Bolognaise with tagilatelle
Chinese roast pork, lettuce and onion on brioche buns
Chicken & cashew nut stir fry
Fried gnocchi with chorizo and mozzarella
    Tuna pasta bake
Chorizo burgers or Cumberland sausage on brioche buns

    Thanks for the thread, Soworried.

Breakfasts will be porridge made with water

Lunches - tuna, tinned mushrooms and chickpea salad

Evening meals in no particular order:

Veg and noodle stirfry in blackbean sauce x 2
    Tomato pasta bake
    Spaghetti with lentil bolognaise
    Soup and a sandwich x 2
    Cheese toasties and a pudding

A very unadventurous week, but I am on the tightest of tightest budgets for the next few months, as the house needs rewiring as a matter of urgency and I'm going to need every penny I've got to pay for it!

Just discovered this thread - I always do a meal plan but have found loads of useful tips on here and on the "Cheapest meal" thread running at the moment...unfortunately my kids don't like things like tuna pasta bake so I make a fairly limited range of meals.

    So for this week:
SAT: Adults: chicken curry / rice / naan bread
Kids: chicken goujons / chips / sweetcorn
SUN: One-pot chicken casserole with roast sweet potatoes
MON: Sausage casserole with sliced (leftover) potato topping / green beans
TUES : Spag bol. Kids favourite. I make garlic bread with a garlic & rosemary ciabatta flour mix, costs £1 and makes 3 flat pizza breads.
    WED: Chicken stir fry
THURS: Kids: HM pizzas Adults: Spanish omelette and beans
FRI: not worked that out yet!

Another "just found this thread", I live alone and have 2 freezers full, I desperately need to use this stuff up or bin it, I have a sort of list of stock, but forget to subtract or add after a few days, I will sit down tomorrow and make a plan, I have no fresh veg but plenty of frozen, so try and just rely on freezer foods. Getting some good ideas from other peoples plans already.
Do I need it or just want it.

 Don't bin it, you can find a way to use it up. Just think of it as opening your purse, tipping it upside down over the bin.

If you want any ideas on recipes just post and we can help you come up with some :)

My freezer inventory has went to pot as well with being on holiday. I'm going to make a new one today and get inventive to use it all up.
