I'm in again, but only tracking the 7 by Autumn, main issue is still my Makeup stash which are long haul items
1 - Benefit Fake up Concealer Full sized - Still going strong despite daily use. - I hate this its a horrid greasy thing - why did I buy it
2 - Benefit Watts Up Highlighter sample 2.5g. - have been using daily and no change
3 - Urban Decay Scandal Lip Gloss mini 1.7ml. Using a few times a week.
4 - UU - Benefit Porefessional mini 7.5ml.
5 - OPI mini polishes - target changed to any of my OPI mini's.
6- Urban Decay Eye Shadows, I would like to UU at least one of the following all have hit pan already. 50/50 and Fix (from the Naked on the Run Palette), Baked Cowboy (from Shadow Box), and Minor Sin (single).50/50 is going down quickly currently being used as highlighter. Again, I think I'll change this to absolutely any eye shadow - need to reduce
7 - Crabtree & Evelyn Avocado, Olive & Basil Body Lotion 250ml. Has been open for ages still not UU as really bad at remembering to use body lotion. - still keep forgetting to use this.
At the moment it seems I'm only UU items that I need to replace, not things that I have lots of.0 -
Genzime - Sorry about what's happened, hope it gets sorted for you.0
-
Gemzie that is really s***, I hope things work out.0

Gemzie121, that's awful of your work!
Who told you re. the unions? If it wasn't them directly, then call them now, tell them the situation, and ask what support they can offer you if you join.
Also head over to the employment board on here, there might be some experts on hand that can give you advice: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=141
Take as much time as you can this week before the meeting to get all the facts collated. Going in with prepared points, set facts, and as little emotion as possible will help - in a work situation, it's often the most prepared person, with all the facts to hand that will win an argument.
- have a look at your contract and check terms for dismissal
- go back through your calendar and document all the times you work above your contracted hours *for their benefit/to help them out*
- make a note of all days/shifts missed for illness. Were there weeks you still did your contracted hours or more, even if you missed one shift?
- Ask them to clearly document/present the illness ratio they have calculated, and how they believe this exceeds or compares negatively to other staff (they need to prove, with facts, that they are not unfiarly targeting you)
- One argument to put forward would be that you have been very helpful and accomodating to them when they needed extra help, but for the next xyz period of time, you will only be able to work your contracted hours (point to your contract at this point!).
You could also add (if you want/agree with your doctor) that if they still find themselves short staffed in the future you are willing to discuss helping them out some more.
Every statement should be focussed on how good an employee you have been, and higlighting instances where they are being unreasonable. Don't give them any wiggle room.
Good luck, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!0 -
The PP list for July didn't go as well as I hoped. Everything is just lasting forever!
UU - I love... cherry almond sparkle bath and shower crème 500ml - WBA smelt just like cherry bakewells!
UU - Boots extracts spiced apple hand cream 75ml - WNBA did nothing for my hands, used it up on my feet in the end to get rid.
UU - Avon planet spa sake and rice face mask 75ml - WNBA this was actually binned in the end as it just felt like glue and didn't dry very well. Have another in stash so will slather it on the husband instead.
UU - Boots essentials cucumber cleansing lotion - WMBA this lasted ages and it's not something I really need. Only got it because I had a boots 200 points voucher and it was £1.99.
UU - Beyonce Heat Perfume 100ml - WBA one of my faves but I have another one in the stash already.
PP list for August, let's hope it's better than July
Palmolive honey bath milk 500ml
Imperial leather sherbet lemon shower cream 250ml
Boots extracts spiced apple body scrub 75ml
Boots extracts coconut body scrub 75ml
Boots extracts mango body scrub 75ml

Gemzie, hope your awful work solution is resolved satisfactorily and soon for you.
I have another TA, UU and INs:-
TA No7 Dramatic Lift mascara. Have tried to use this over the past week but don't get on with the brush and it keeps smudging under my eyes. So whilst in Superdrug today I picked up a Loreal Telescopic mascara. There was a 3for2 offer so I bought 2 of these and a Voluminous one for Emma as she has finished her Tarte mascara. The spare will be for whoever needs it first or Emma if I don't get on with it.
Other INs are 2 X facial wipes for our trips. Emma's has the Garnier micelles ones and I got the B range ones.
UU: Jack Wills Hope Cove body mist from my 7 by Autumn challenge. In the end I got bored of this and used as a room spray too.
Have repaintied my nails with OPI Black Cherry Chutney. My back up bottle appears to have loads left in it. Hurrah.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Deleted_User thanks for the new thread I cant believe its august already where is this year going?
Gemzie I hope that it all goes well for you, I am disabled and we need to fight for everything but what these idiots don't realise is that we are stronger because of our ill health, so don't let them win!
July was a very slow month all of my toiletries are spluttering away still. One UU today tube of toothpaste which was replaced with a spare and I now I need to buy a new one.
My PP for August:

- jar coconut oil (still got 1/4 left)

Thanks for starting us off Deleted_User, sorry to hear of your work troubles Gemzie, I hope they see the error of their ways.
I'm in, probably not a good start as I went to Boots today and brought a Botanics All bright day and night cream. I only have a Steam Cream in terms of face creams so I did kind of need these and they were half price:money:Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Hello!
Gemzie - They can't get of rid of you for incapacity to work if you are just asking for reasonable adjustments, that's ridiculous! It shouldn't be that you are discriminated against for having a disability, I hope you are able to get a good case going and keep your job or find a better one xx
Back OT now, this is my final update for July......
UUs
Clarins Extra-Firming Body Lotion 200ml - WNBA, didn't like the smell!
Lancôme Hydra Zen Moisturising Cream SPF15 15ml - WNB, I have never 'bought' this, it's always just come in free gift sets and that's where any future stock will come from! It's nice but the SPF isn't high enough for me.
