  • Hi there  We have an older thread on cleaning rotas, with links to other threads. I'll add this thread to that one so that you can browse the suggestions there ;)

You might also want to join in with the Flyladies. This week's thread is here.

  • I couldnt get to grips with fly lady but I use chorebuster.net you can create a schedule allocate days , frequency and chores to individuals from a big pick list or manually. You can print it off or download a yahoo widget which gives you a list on your computer desk top each day of your tasks which you grey out as completed

  • Hi Guys,

I have similar problem at home. I am a student, and we are 5 of us sharing a house!

Getting everybody to do their chores is really really difficult, and looks like it is a problem that other people might have too. So I started working on an app that might help us solve this. I have got a working prototype, and it seems to be working in our house.

It currently tells people who's turn it is to perform a certain task, such as clean the kitchen. Others can hassle others anonymously by clicking a button (an email / sms is sent out).

Before investing more time into this, I was wondering if people would be interested in it. You can indicate your interest by simply adding your email to "do your turn DOT com" or simply let me know here :)

    Cheers!
