Not offended at all carbootcrazy. It's lovely having Lynn on board to help.

I bought my glasses from glasses direct on a discounted offer and cashback. Missed the mse offer but pleased to say am very happy with my £25 glasses fitted with my prescription. They are great and didn't cost £180 from s8e8s9v9r9s!!!

Not a bad start today-£3 cheque deposited and I somehow managed to do the weekly shop for £27.40 less than budgeted due to cycling to the shop and taking a minuscule rucksack! We have enough to eat....just and no luxuries but I'm very aware we are on holiday next week so £10 a day may take a hit then.

I am here and ready to try again if you'dd have me?
However, I think it's probably best to aim for £5 a day instead if that's okay?

    Hiya

Just to let you know that I don't know if/when I'll be on here t/m.

I have an appointment at the eye clinic - miles away - for them to assess my cataract. I know they put drops in so can't drive but don't know how long I'll be there or when my normal sight will return.

So I'll be back as soon as and meanwhile hope you all have a terrific money-making Tuesday

Just won 500 points on a spin on bounts :j:beer: puts me a little closer to my next £5 days out voucher to use for DS' bowling birthday party in November.

I am aiming to pay for it completely with vouchers and then will just have to pay for any parent's drinks that bother to stay for the party.

The parents that usually come disappear and leave the hosts to deal with all the kids!

also spotted a great moneysaving idea for the party bags. pink and white alternate marshmallows on a stick with something at either end to stop them getting hurt. simple and cheap but effective
