Nothing to report for the past few days, but I have a few ebay listings ending soon and some items on gumtree - fingers crossed! I'll keep working on Qmee and Valued Opinions too.

Had my shopping delivered today and Sainsbury's accepted a £10 off £50 spend that actually ran out yesterday. They also sent 2 of something that I had only ordered 1 of and didn't charge for it so after ringing to let them know I was told to keep it

So all told £13. to add to my total for August taking me to £48.18/£1000

Hope everyone is having the lovely sunshine we have here today.

Well done to all who've made a start with their moneymaking, with profits already received or in transit. Good luck with anything planned that is about to show results:beer:

Big virtual hugs to sugarplum:kisses3:, I expect real ones are too painful still:eek:. I hope you'll soon be feeling 100% pain free.

Had a nice surprise when I checked my bank account online today as money claimed from various places has arrived overnight:j.
That's £67 from TCB (sadly nothing left pending now to claim later:(),£1.17 cashback from QC, and £8 from the international postal survey. That's a lovely £76.17 to get me started this month:j

Still waiting for Amazon to pay up. Am now at over £19 on PA so fingers crossed I'm eligible for something else soon so I can claim £20. Did a Pinecone survey yesterday, the first I've been offered for ages, so that amount should be here soon:)

Have nearly finished cleaning and polishing all the stuff I dragged out of the sheds that might fetch a few pennies at the car boot sale tomorrow. We've had so much torrential rain this past few days that I wonder if the sale will go ahead. They've a history of cancelling because of waterlogging of that particular field:eek:

    So far so good..
Survey payments requested have arrived so £48.00 in, sounds good but it took ages to build up, £1 bank interest, £6 banked from the change pot and £53.00 from a carboot sale.
I wish I had carbootcrazy's enthusiasm for car boots but I find it such a palava to get everything sorted, bring it down from the attic and so on. I could do another car boot if I put my mind to it but the sun is shining, i've got to walk the dogs, my list of excuses is endless.
    Onwards and upwards

That made me smile, Talia, you sound like my OH:rotfl:. Except in his case nothing whatsoever would persuade him to do one;). He doesn't even come to help me but is quick enough to find all sorts of useless tat that he wants me to take and add to my own stuff that I'm selling. And, he wants all the money I make from selling his rubbish. Talk about cheapskate:eek:

I don't know what it is about them that I love, people probably think I'm a bit strange:o. I'm always up and about by 6 every morning anyway so it's not all that much of a hardship to be at a site setting out my stuff by 5.30. Maybe night owls wouldn't find that bit such fun. I make sure the car is all ready loaded up the night before though. The part I like least is unpacking the car, setting up and then repacking at the end. Once I'm ready to roll I'm in seventh heaven. Even if I don't make much money it's clutter gone and it's fun having a laugh and a chat with the buyers and browsers:j. Oh, and nowadays I get fed up of buyers asking if I've got a bag for them to put their purchase in. Sadly, the days of free supermarket carrier bags to hand out willy nilly has gone:(.
