I know! I’m hoping my business will improve, I find a new job and being frugal will help. At least I have got rid of the tutor!0 -

Morning,
New year tomorrow and hopefully a new and improved me!
I have ppl round for the next three days ( not sleeping here but will still need to feed them at least one meal a day). This has really made me realise even more that I can’t be doing this often as our food budget is ridiculously tight and having guests is taking away food from us. I feel so tight saying that which is unlike me but for us to improve this awful financial situation, I will have to be tight and think more of myself and my family.
Thank you for all your support this year, I really do value all replies even if sometimes some are hard to read as it makes me aware of things I do wrong😳
Happy new year! Here is to a fantastic and frugal 2018!0 -

I had a long chat with dh and we have decided to try and pay our debts off on our own until May and then reassess. My dh seems more on the ball, I also mentioned we can’t eat as much 🤣 I’ve decided not to buy grapes as often as they are an expensive fruit and we go through at least 2 punnets a week.0

Morning,
I hope everyone enjoyed last night and happy new year again.
I’m out for a meal tonight that’s being paid for but we have to buy our drinks so guess what we will be drinking....tap water!
I think I have enough boxes of biscuits to keep us going until July! If our budget gets really bad we always will have biscuits as food0 -
I forgot to mention that I spoke to some friends about not doing bday presents for them and their chn. That’s a £100 saving. I said to my dh that it’s crazy the amount we spend on presents , it’s like we are sacrificing essentials to buy gifts for other ppl and that doesn’t feel right.0

Hi debtaghh and a Happy New Year to you and yours.
I think the present idea is a good one and it shows that you have already changed the way you think and are putting yourselves first.
What is it then
Biscuit soup
Biscuit casserole
Biscuit pie
:rotfl:
We have enough cheese to last us too maybe we can do a swap and have a cheese and biscuit party
Enjoy your meal tonight
