I have been thinking a lot lately and really want to change things in my life so have made a list:
Do regular exercise
Spend one to one time with my chn
Spend time with chn in general
Have a date night with dh once a month ( at home but just us having a meal and watching a movie)
Check surveys daily m- f
Start pots and do it properly
Try to worry less and enjoy the moment
Think of and do more activities that are free.
Bake more
Do not do top up shops and make do with what we have.
Try and reduce outgoings as much as possible.
Once lost weight I've put on whilst on holiday, stick to 1750 calories during the week.
Focus on the good more.
More family time.
Take chn Swimming
Clear debt and update signature regularly
Up my income
These are in no particular order as they are all important.0 -
Good list there. I am a great believer in only shopping once a week with one top up shop for milk, bread and fruit/veg. Just use what you have in fridge, freezer and cupboard for all else.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I've been really thinking of the food budget a lot as this is the only thing I can regularly reduce. I'm going to cut this really back until Xmas and try and reduce my debt in time to allow my affordability to be easier in the new year.
The regular things will be fruit, milk, bread, frozen veg, cheese and toilet paper.
I think I'll be eating lots of pasta and cheese and beans on toast! When I get back I'm going to make a log of what's in my cupboards.0 -
Morning,
Leaving from my holiday but as dh has been paid, I've paid the minimums so will quickly update my signature. I still have £135 cash but will need some today.0 -

Back home, one load done and hanging out to dry and second load on. I've come back with £120 which I'm very pleased about. I'm going to use this towards dd's shoes and spending money for the rest of the summer ( am hoping I won't need all of it).
I'm hoping to pay a little bit more towards the credit cards.0 -
Morning,
I'm meeting a friend today , she has had a very difficult time lately so we booked this a while ago but I do have vouchers for my lunch. Before then I need to:
Put a load on and hang it up outside to dry
Hoover the house
Go food shopping and aim is to spend under £50- I did a meal plan last night and checked what was in the freezer and cupboards so we will use up bits for the next few weeks.
I received an email last night about the tv licence which is due at the end of this month not September! Will need to recheck the accounts but think it should be fine.
I'm really determined to have the rest of the year being very frugal ( excluding Xmas as that will be money from the savings) as I believe/ hope it will then make things more manageable.
Surveys seem quite quiet at the moment but I did do two yesterday, I hope in September there will be more.
Have a lovely day.0
