That's fabulous bet she was bowled over by your generosity!:D

    Looks sooo expensive.;)

    Won't find out till Tuesday.

Son has just run out of the door with his own present for her as there are a crowd of them going out for a meal but he told me there is no way he is being seen by his mates carrying a big woosy girly gift box.

Duh!! it is for a girl - it isn't for him.

I'll hand it in myself on Tuesday when it is her actual birthday.

    No doubt she'll love it.

Bet you do too. If it was me I wouldn't be able to stop myself looking admiringly at it feeling so proud of what I'd achieved for so little money.

    It's a real buzz eh!

Glad you can enjoy it until Tuesday.

You are so right - before I actually wrapped it up, I kept bringing it out and rearranging a wee bit here and a wee bit there.

Now it is all wrapped up sitting on my dressing table next to my bed it looks quite good and I am quite chuffed with myself.

Do you think if I hint hard enough either my OH or one of my sons will take th hint? i.e. there is plenty of "spare" stuff in the box up the loft or under my bed!!!

    No! - thought not?

It was my mum that had the same problem - and we spent them with no hassle from boots. Considering she'd had a card for 6 months when this happened, and they'd told her she'd "not spent enough" to get vouchers (and she had £42 of points!), we thought we'd use it as they were being unhelpful and frankly in some calls, rude.

We debated it for about 3/4 days, if that, we spent some points on a small thing first, then checked both cards, and the points had only been taken off one, so we then went and spent the rest of the points, and nothing was said. She's still having problems with her card and getting vouchers though, CS don't seem to bother doing anything, they keep saying they'll speak to a supervisor and call back or send her a new card etc etc, nothing's working :/

Just give my quick opinon on this, you are obviously a very sincere person, otherwise you would have just spent it and not asked others for advice.
If you spend it, think how you will feel when using your points in the future, or when you recieve a mailing from boots - are you going to wonder if they have found out?

Personally, if you're having this dilema i would just cut up the old card and throw it away, and be happy you got the £92 points, instead of the £78.

Whatever you decide, make sure it's a decision that will keep your concious clear.
