Blackpool's "secret" Christmas shopping event is 29 November, 3 - 9pm...just been & spent my £50 stocking up the bathroom cabinet, got my 1000 points & the barcode voucher to get an extra 500 on that day.

    Didn't see any samples - mind it was 12.30 & full of lunchtime / half-term shoppers :D

Oh dear, that's it....i'm officially addicted!!!...I've spent the last couple of days putting together an online order...humming and hawing about what to get for the best to get the best combination of number of points, 3 for twos etc etc (as yer do!)....

Got a £50 order together, (£40.00 with the £10 for £50 spend code), with 500 extra points, 1 gwp, 2 things free on 3 for 2 etc etc etc,

I was just about to press the button to confirm payment when I realise that the only thing I actually REALLY, REALLY wanted was the No7 compact mirror for £8.00 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My dilema is......do I STILL want to fork out £40 on the order just for the sake of the bargains, or do I just go instore and buy the bl**dy thing?

    Answers on a post card please.....:o :o

this forum is about money saving and the first rule is not to buy anything you don't need.
SO my advice is to go instore, get the mirror and somehting else you need (bodyforms with the free tin, 2 soaps from expert plus the gwp, for example), get it over the £10 thereshold, collect the bonus points (50 or 75) and get a £5 n7 vouccher. Get something from N7 you will use so that you may end up paying little.

But I understand how addcitive bargain hunting is... it is no longer about saving money but getting the best bargain!!
PS: if you do buy online do not forget about quidco or pigscback.

PS: Can you use a £5 off N7 on the mirror? That would make it even cheaper!!

    DONT ORDER FROM BOOTS

DONT GO TO THE NIGHT TONIGHT

Unless you really need to and it was planned.

I sit here every day readin this thread and it's starting to get ridiculous now. I have no money and I'm still contemplating buying £40 worth of olay tonight just because of the points I worked out earlier.

So how about we stick together and we say NO I'm going to sort my head out and be confident and sensible and say NO I don't need anymore flipping boots points that I wont even spend because then I'll lose out on other points offers lol

The only way around it I can see is if youre going to buy £50 of nappies and wipes to stock up for christmas :D:D

WE CAN DO IT.. get off this thread and go somewhere else!!
