last year I went to the Boots evening and I thought it would be fab and I would have lots of goodies and stuff and it was naff. I went to the trafford centre, so this year I am not going to bother.
Can't wait to start wrapping my pressies with the bargain paper for 19p which I have had since Feb!! How sad is that.
I bought loads of bows at 8p a bag of 10 on boxing day - got a HUGE xmas bag full of pretty sparkly bowsAlso got a variety box from woolies with 5 tubes of xmas paper, 8 bows, 2 ribbon reels and some giftcards for £1 XD

The skincare bars (soap!) are £1.09, and really nice, OH usually uses Palmolive but this is for sensitive skin and ok, also I'm favouring these against my lovely Sanctuary shower gel at the minute! HTH0 -

can anyone tell me if I can use,
200 points on a £20 spend
double points (use twice)
both from the mailing.
And how many points would I get all together if I bought the olay for the 1000 points?
Thanks:o0 -
When did the double points voucher arrive?0

I'm going to be an abstainer too! I don't need to spend £50 in Boots, I have £63 in points and was going to spend them on Christmas pressies for people using the 3 for 2's but now I'm wondering if I've got enough people who need Boots style pressies! Can't buy for my mum or sister from there as they'll know their pressies cost me nothing!
It'll be choccies for the teachers, some bath stuff things for friend's daughters etc, anything I don't spend, I'll keep for the sales! Would be great if you could spend your points online....0 -

DONT GO TO THE NIGHT TONIGHT
Unless you really need to and it was planned.
I sit here every day readin this thread and it's starting to get ridiculous now. I have no money and I'm still contemplating buying £40 worth of olay tonight just because of the points I worked out earlier.
So how about we stick together and we say NO I'm going to sort my head out and be confident and sensible and say NO I don't need anymore flipping boots points that I wont even spend because then I'll lose out on other points offers lol
The only way around it I can see is if youre going to buy £50 of nappies and wipes to stock up for christmas:D
WE CAN DO IT.. get off this thread and go somewhere else!!
I TOO AGREE ON THIS.
I have been starting to go slow on the spending in Boots. Even started to pay with my points  -am quite proud of it. I have to say it does help that there are no glitches or great offers on at the moment. Saving myself for the January sale.:rotfl:0 -
ARRRGHH!  I have planned a day out 2mro to go especially to the boots night & I've just realised it was today!!!!! If any1 remembers me from last year I went a day early, but at least I didn't miss it!
Is there just the 1? Any chance of another in Nov? Did they only do 1 last year? SOOO angry coz I'm desperate for nappies:mad:I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -

Cheapest item is the soap (2 of these at £1.09 each) but many stores do not stock it so the next thing to look for is the lip cream (tucked away with the Chapsticks range) which is £1.55 (so 2 @ £1.55).
Also the interdental sticks at £1.99 a pack.0
