  • Right, Back from my boots night and just thought i would say. When you make a purchase on a boots night you get an invite(print out) to the 3rd night and you take the print out along with you and you get 1500 for £50 spent BUT you need the print out as they scan it.

Managed to get a 350pts on a £40 out the acm tonight so had all my transactions at £50 and 350pts on each. The young sa was really nice and had a laugh at how many times i was running in and out with bags.

Oh the Elizabeth Arden gift is out on 12 November. Spend £30 get the bag for £39. Totally gorgeous.

    Hi
Which blusherbrush did you get with your no 7 voucher?
I tried using a voucher on r&m eyeshadow applicators and it didn't work. Was then told I could only use it on makeup and creams.

I've used it on R&M brushes but it has to be the ones at the end of the R&M counter that are with the new eye palettes that are in flimsier cellophane only packaging not the ones with cardboard inserts in the packaging which are usually with all the other makes of applicators and brushes. You can buy mascara brush £3.50, eyeshadow smudger£4.00 and Eyeliner brush £5.00 and others if you are prepared to pay the difference. 100pointer in Acm for 2 R&M items will probably be ok as well if SA willing.

When you make a purchase online your points are waiting in the acm for you 5 days after dispatch. So next time your in just pop your card in the machine and they hould be there.

Just a note that some people have not got points then tried a different machine and they have appeared.

    HTH

Right, im away to bed. will be on tomorrow after my highlights to deal with some questions.

    Hi everyone
I've not posted for ages as I've been obsessed with Tesco points these days so its kind of taken my focus away fro Boots:eek:
Anyway I bought my DH an 80GB ipod with my points last week and realised I would need to sort myself out and get collecting again.
So first proper try was today at the Glasgow St Enoch Xmas Shop and I did realy well
    I spent £53.46 and got 3074 points:j :j :j
    I bought
V smile Dora game, My first monopoly and play-Doh Dors set on 3 for 2 toys and rest on Olay creams
    so got
    1000 for Xmas shop event
1000 for £20 spend on Olay
    212 points for total spend
212 points for double points coupon
350 points on a £40 spend from ACM
300 points for £30? spend coupon

I was very chuffed. I also got the £5 voucher and the 500 points for the next Xmas Shopping night. I'm a bit unclear if it means you get 1000 for £50 spend and 500 or just 500
I noticed that someone had posted about it already so will go back and read but I think I am officially addicted again :rotfl:

  • Hi everyone,

Looking for some quick help here - all you bootsers are more advanced than I am so can maybe make more sense of this receipt than I can!

Ok, so went to Boots today for the christmas event and bought:

    Perfume - £40
Lipgloss - £14 (got free gift)
    3 for 2 on gifts
    Lipgloss
    Nivea Set

The woman had a bit of trouble with the free gift with the perfume and lipgloss and ended up having to take it off and re-scan. In the mix up she re-scanned the Nivea set too (adding another £6.65) I didnt notice this so my total came to £94. I thought to myself, I may as well add another £6 to get the 2000 points. So picked another lipgloss to bring total to £100.29. I also had a double points coupon to see if there was any extra points. The lady scanned this but said she thought it wasnt going through and scanned it a couple of times.

So.... on my receipt, it says:

    ***Offer Points***

    1000acp wys 50
    1000acp wys 50
    1000acp wys 50
    1000 acp wys 50

    Points received 400
    *offer points* 6000
    Double points 400
    New points 7545

I only had £7 on this card before I went in.

Has this added my online order that I made the other day too? (1000 for Olay?) or should this still be added on?

Thanks for your help in advance

Has anyone tried the Olay 1000 points offer on a £40 spend in store - does it give you the 2000 points. I know it does online, but stores are sometimes different. Thanks.

Has anyone tried this yet in store, got a Christmas shopping evening tomorrow and would like to know before I spend up.

    Thank-you
    Josey
