Logging some spends.
Prescription - £8 something now
Medicines (sadly unavoidable slight emergency) - £12
Hair stuff - £10 for three plus free socks0 -
I have some spends to report £1 rice to go with chilli for lunch at work. £5.50 cakes for team at work.0

I'm being too spendy!
£14 dinner out with my partner (include 20% discount I got us)
£5.50 I bought my partner and I a drink in a pub, he bought me dinner last month
£6 my share of some bits from
IKEA. OH bought a mirror and a desk chair, as they are things I'd do without buying as don't have the budget he paid.
£18 essentials including tights, some essential personal care toiletries0 -
About £170 to last 3 and a half weeks left.0

If you average 4 prescriptions every 3 months a prepay certificate will save you money.
You can also ask the doctor to prescribe things like paracetamol if needed, to save additional pennies.0 -
I recently went through my online banking to see how much I spend in a year and placed it all on an excel spreadsheet. It helps illuminate how much you have spent and where you could save!0

Hi all. Money sitch isn't great at all this month. However I have done two MSE things -phoned in meter readings and rang phone company. As contract ending soon I've resisted the urge to upgrade my phone (I have an iPhone 5C that feels like it is on its last legs, rubbish memory rubbish battery life!) and have asked to go on a rolling 1month contract of £13 saving £14 a month here. Plan to do this for a bit while I seek out a decent deal, or as long as I can stand to save money. I'm not obsessed by gadgets, I know I can't afford the latest ones, but a slightly better one eventually would be good!0

Logging spends from Monday (I was waiting to settle up with OH)
Food shop (huge loads of yellow stickered meat and fish and fresh veg, cupboard stuff etc will hopefully so two weeks easily) my share £18
Cake decorating stuff for a gathering £14.50 (super spendy but friends will hopefully sort food and wine)
Dinner out with a friend £10 (again spendy but drank only tap water to keep price down)0 -
More spends
£5 pizza making ingredients and £2.40 hot chocolate (which I bought to treat myself for spending whole day off indoors tidying and cleaning flat and wanted to go out for a bit but I regret now as wasn't even nice!)
I had a nice time with friends tonight so money spent on that was in some ways a good thing to do.
Rest of the pay month until 21sy is going to be impossibly tight though!0 -
Having a terrible time at work. It's a pretty hostile overworked stressed situation. Everyone's super fed up and it's getting really bad. So annoying as I really hoped this job was going to be less stressful than it has been.
Feeling all over the place has made me end up having to physically remove myself from
Building on breaks (we don't have a staff room) so I've ended up buying hot drinks and food to be somewhere else. So I've spent £4 off and £3 odd yesterday and today even with bringing in some food.
Will try to avoid this over the weekend, when I'm working.0
