Don't eat all the leftovers tonight! is it sad that I went away for 2 days and brought the mini packet of cereals with me?! That's three breakfasts right there! I had paid for them in the room rate after all!

I do the same, if there's an (included) soft drink mini bar the chocolates & drinks come home and all coffee sachets/teabags :D
    First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!
  • Yay for successful evenings AND leftovers!
Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.
Divorcing, unclear on final debt total right now, but focusing on building a financial buffer zone.
  • Great for having leftovers, I do worry about you cycling late at night to lock up!

    Hope you're having a relaxing Sunday, H x
  • Yay to leftovers Bob. I hope you're not too tired today x

I've got everything crossed that you don't get a huge business rates hike Bob, it's things like that which really annoy me when you see how hard SE people work - you've opened my eyes to the amount of admin/cycling/worrying etc you do when you are just trying to create a better life for your family.
That should be rewarded, not penalised!
Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭

Ha ha don't worry, I restrained myself :)

Not sad at all, sounds like an excellent Womble to me. If you've paid for something then take it I say. Thanks for popping in :)

It's a definite perk Huggle thanks for worrying about me. But I am very careful and always assume someone will be driving like a loon so ride very defensively. Sadly not but I will get some time off this week coming. :)

I'm powering thr zzzzzzzzz (falls asleep in dinner) :rotfl:

Thanks Kirsty I appreciate your kindness. And agree that if the much referenced SME is the future of this countries work force, they could do just a tad more to help...:(

    Hi All

Haven't had chance to catch up on here yet today. DD is now napping and I have a cup of tea. I'd say that's a win. Had a bit of a later start today, at work for 1 to do a viewing and then meet the party hosts for this afternoon's party.
Was shouted at by a rude man in a pick up truck for being in the middle of the road on my ride over. But if he knew that road he would appreciate how hard it is to get from the inside left to the right hand turn as a cyclist and realise why it's better to move out sooner than later. Clearly of the school of thought that cyclists are all stupid and taking up room on HIS road. Silly me.

    Wealth

    * Spent some time invoicing today. 4 done in total. Need to keep the cash a flowing.

    * This weekends spends have been minute. Less than £10 in total. Not bad considering the 4 of us have all been around. No grocery spends since Friday.

    * I did my adding up of food spends for the week. Not low, because I have stocked up on extra items but once you remove storecupboard spends very low. £68 for the week. Included £6 on 78 nappies & £2.40 on 4 packs of wipes. Plus the other expensive stock up items like coffee £3, marmite, £2.40, brown sauce £2.40, a massive gravy for £3. Have also added quite a lot to my list of two weeks of stocks.
When you look in the fridge it's bare but then those items will all last ages.

    * Had to draw out the money to pay the window cleaner today (for work) so that is ready to leave for him tonight.

    Health

    * Tired. Not really looking forward to the next round trip but once it's done it's done.

    Organisation

    * Called the leisure centre to check how much it is to swim at the moment. Can plan which pot to pay from now. Randomly child swim is £2.05 don't forget the 5p people!

    * We go away in 2 days time so I'm not doing another proper shop. Our fridge is very bare. I have cleaned it this morning and tonight's Sheppard's pie which uses up the last third of the 750g mince pack will clean us out.

    * Have done a lot of social media for the business today based on last night's event. It's always good to show people what is possible.

    * Finished off home made soup for lunch myself and the others had last night's pasta bake. No food waste and saves preparing a new meal.

    Have a good night.

    Bob
