Evening All

Late one for me tonight, we have an event on, and I am just waiting now for the call to go and lock up. Not looking forward to going out again in the semi snow yuck. But I have had pretty much all day bar 2 hours around lunchtime with the family, and DS won't even know I've been out again after his bedtime. Hoping DD doesn't wake up looking for me and finding only OH she can be a bit unsettled sometimes.

We've had some worry today as OHs Mum had to go into hospital again last week for a repeat procedure, and she's been in a lot of pain today. She doesn't seem to have much in the way of painkillers for some reason. When I came out of hospital last year they stocked me up for weeks on a selection of the pharmacists top stuff. I didn't need it in the end but odd they'd operate and then pack someone off with paracetamol.

Just caught the end of The Full Monty, such a great film, gotta love a Brit movie.

Right well let's hope I'm not waiting too long for the call.

1.30 home and in bed in the end. I do worry about both MIL and FIL sometimes they tell you things and you just think,that's not good at all!

Morning All

I was lucky last night in the end and the people running the event were pretty much ready to go by just after 12. By the time I got home again it was around 12.30. Unfortunately OH had been coping with a screaming baby for the hour I'd been gone, she heard the door slide shut as I went and that was it apparently. It does make me feel a bit guilty but it's not like it's every night, although it will be for the next two Saturdays as well.

I was given a portion of food to bring home and being a greedy so and so stuck my snout in it when I got back just for a taster and it was so good!

Could really have done without the 5.40 wake up call from DS who is a terrible sleeper and never goes past 6.

Coffee and toast for now. Have more stuff happening at the venue this afternoon so same round trip over and back twice today. But much earlier finish.
